Preschool story hour meets on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30.  Both days are the same program, but due to numbers we have two days so that the group size does not get too big.

Toddler Time

toddler-timeThis program is for toddlers who are walking comfortably and on the go.  They will enjoy a nonstop mix of songs, rhymes, circle games, and books.  The toddler rhymes are upbeat compared to the baby and me rhymes. This is to match the level of activity that a toddler exhibits.  Toddlers will also be encouraged to get up and move throughout the story-time along with having time to sit relax and listen to a story.  Toddler Time meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:30.

Summer Reading Program for School-Aged Kids

summer-readingDuring the summer we also have a summer reading program for School-aged kids.  It is for all students who have finished kindergarten through fourth grade.  During the school aged program kids will enjoy presentations from people within the community, and fun activities that all link to a theme.

To help encourage reading during the summer months there will also be a reading competition. Children will be asked to record the amount of time they read during the six week program.  This program is held in late June through July.
